YOUTH.SEC.CON. 2025

As the newest initiative at HOU.SEC.CON., YOUTH.SEC.CON., is a one-day event that is designed to inspire and educate students who are eager to build the skills needed to protect our digital world. Whether you’re just starting or already diving into cybersecurity, this program offers hands-on experiences, expert-led sessions, and networking opportunities with industry leaders.  

Who Can Participate?

 

YOUTH.SEC.CON is designed for high school students (9th-12th grade) who have an interest in cybersecurity or are currently enrolled in a cybersecurity pathway. This track is ideal for students looking to expand their knowledge, gain hands-on experience, and explore career opportunities in the field.

How do I Register my Student?

 

Tickets are free of charge however there are additional requirements for a student to attend:

Single Student Ticket Requirements:

  • Guardians who wish to bring their 9th – 12th grade students must be a HOU.SEC.CON. attendee that has already purchased a ticket

  • Guardians will need to submit their HOU.SEC.CON. ticket confirmation number, review the student privacy policy, sign a waiver, and agree to the student code of conduct

  • Guardians will need to be onsite to check their student in and out of YOUTH.SEC.CON. 

  • Guardians will need to remain within 1 mile of the GRB throughout the duration of the event in case of emergency

School/Group Ticket Requirements:

  • Teachers and Chaperones who wish to bring a group of 9th – 12th grade students do not need to be a HOU.SEC.CON. attendee 

  • Teachers and Chaperones will need to agree to a student code of conduct 

  • Teachers and Chaperones will need to check their students in and out of YOUTH.SEC.CON.

  • Teachers and Chaperones will need to remain onsite inside the YOUTH.SEC.CON. area with their students for the duration of their stay 

  • Teachers can bring up to 15 students

  • Chaperones can bring up to 5 students 

Agenda

We've curated the agenda to provide an engaging and interactive introduction to the world of cybersecurity. Throughout this event, participants will gain hands-on experience in key areas like ethical hacking, encryption, and online privacy. We hope to inspire students by showcasing exciting career pathways in cybersecurity while fostering collaboration and problem-solving skills. With a focus on building awareness of digital threats, this agenda was designed  for attendees to develop a strong foundation in cybersecurity and explore the growing field of technology.
